On behalf of the citizens of Oxford, welcome to the Lafayette-Oxford-University Community. We hope you will find that in Oxford we enjoy a way of life that contains not only the finer characteristics of a small Southern town, but all of the amenities of a dynamic university environment.
While you are here, please take the time to visit Oxford's restaurant and shopping venues, and enjoy our rich and diverse heritage. You will find historic buildings, galleries and museums, beautiful natural scenery and the friendliest people imaginable. Some are surprised by the hospitality encountered here—but it's just part of what makes Oxford special. I’m confident you will always want to come back.
