As part of Lafayette County, the community has easy access to a wealth of major roadways, including State Highway 6 linking commuters to U.S. 45, U.S. 78 and Interstate 55, and State Highways 7, 9, 314, 315, 331, 328 and 334.
Oxford affords one local airport, equipped with a 5,600-foot runway and is conveniently located approximately 50 minutes from the Tupelo Regional Airport and one hour from the Memphis International Airport. Additionally, the Mississippi Central Railroad provides connections to the Burlington Northern Railway at Holly Springs, Mississippi, and the Norfolk Southern Railway at Grand Junction in Tennessee.
