On behalf of the citizens of Oxford, welcome to the Lafayette-Oxford-University community. I am confident you will find that in Oxford we enjoy a way of life that has many of the finer characteristics of small-town Southern life and an urbane, sophisticated community at the same time.
While here, please take the opportunity to visit Oxford’s many entertainment and shopping amenities, and enjoy our rich and diverse culture. You will find historic buildings, galleries and museums, friendly neighborhoods and appealing natural scenery. Some are surprised by the hospitality encountered here—but it’s just part of what makes Oxford a nice place.
