The new River Region Medical Center, located at 2100 Highway 61 North in Vicksburg, is the largest single hospital project ever constructed in the state of Mississippi. The hospital features a state-of-the-art emergency facility including 27 beds and treatment rooms for trauma, cardiac episodes, and a “fast track” area for treating patients with less severe emergencies. An obstetrics/ gynecology clinic is also located in the hospital.
