Faust Park stands as one of St. Louis County’s most unique sites, spanning approximately 200 acres of local history, entertainment and culture. The county park features the 8,000-square-foot Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House and Education Center, where more than 1,000 tropical butterflies are on display in a natural environment. In addition to the Butterfly House, Faust Park houses a restored 19th-Century Historic Village, the circa 1920s working St. Louis Carousel and Thornhill, the historic mansion that was once home of Missouri’s second governor, Frederick Bates. The park also hosts a number of festivals, including the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce’s popular Concerts in the Park series.

Further sites to be seen while in the Chesterfield area include the Old House in Hog Hollow, the Kemp Auto Museum and the esteemed Spirit of St. Louis Airport.
