Its location within St. Francois County — with a labor force that exceeds 27,500 — enables Farmington to pull in available labor from its surrounding counties, including Iron, Jefferson, Madison, Ste. Mineral Area College is equipped with courses and programs designed for students looking for employment skills in a variety of fields and employees and businesses seeking training opportunities. MAC also offers a Customized Training Program, the New Jobs Training Program, workshops, seminars and the Career Planning Center, which offers career information and guidance.
