The not-for-profit Skaggs Community Health Center, which includes a 165-bed, full-service hospital in Branson and two-dozen satellite medical clinics in Taney and Stone counties, has been providing healthcare to the residents and visitors of the Tri-Lakes Area since January 1950.

Skaggs has 172 physicians on its medical staff; 131 of these physicians maintain practices in Stone or Taney counties and/or provide services at Skaggs. The remaining 41 physicians are consulting physicians with privileges at Skaggs.
