Upon initial settlement, there was an order toward the pioneer outlook: homes, education, churches. Still today, education acts as a building block and is of heavy importance to the communities of North County. Children learn at a young age the importance of a quality education, and how far it can take them in life.
Several school districts contribute toward educating our youth. From elementary to high school, teachers put a substantial effort into keeping test scores and student involvement at all-time highs. Three different Triple A-rated school districts work collectively to promote and sustain worthwhile curriculums for the betterment of area students.
Alternative options in schooling appear in the form of parochial and private institutions. Here the teacher/student ratio is drastically lowered and attention toward the individual is stressed. Opportunities for a diverse and profound education are heightened.
