The Mineral Area Regional Medical Center (MARMC) has grown immensely since its original opening on June 17, 1952. Today, MARMC is a 135-bed, full-service, acute-care hospital equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated base of employees and physicians. An affiliate of Capella Healthcare, the medical center offers a comprehensive selection of medical services and high-quality care in a compassionate environment.

Parkland Health Center (PHC), a member of BJC HealthCare, came to fruition following the merging of two area facilities in 1991. Today, PHC is noted among the nation’s “Top 100 Hospitals” by Thomson Reuters. PHC-Bonne Terre is a primary care facility housing medical offices, a 24-hour emergency room and ancillary services. PHC-Farmington is a 130-bed, full-service hospital equipped with a medical staff of 134. The health center provides a wide range of services, ranging from maternity and pediatrics, cardiac rehabilitation and outpatient and inpatient surgery to 24-hour emergency care, diagnostic radiology and physical therapy.
