Boulevard-St. Louis (a Pace Properties, Inc. development project) is located on the east side of Brentwood Boulevard (just north of Interstate 64 near the University Club Tower). This multi-use development project — which includes office, residential and retail space — is a prime example of what is called “new urbanism.” Its retail tenants include Portrait Innovations, Mitchell James, Strasburg Children, Cold Stone Creamery, Maggiano’s Little Italy Restaurant and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro restaurant.

Galleria 6 Cinemas at the Saint Louis Galleria and the historic Esquire 7 Theatre are two popular multi-screen theaters in the area. Located in the 6700 block of Clayton Road, the Esquire first opened in 1939, and it has been upgraded several times since then to enhance the experience of local moviegoers.
