graphicRichmond Heights boasts a number of recreational opportunities that are sure to match your family’s needs and interests. Private enterprises offer recreation and fitness opportunities such as bowling, racquetball, movies and other forms of relaxation.

Everyone is sure to enjoy our new community center (completed by the City of Richmond Heights in the fall of 2000) on Dale Avenue just east of Hanley Road. Inside, you’ll find an indoor water park that includes a leisure pool, giant water slide, lap pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, and an interactive play area. There are locker rooms for men, for women and for families! The community center also features state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a suspended indoor track, and a two-court gymnasium. All that — plus the city’s new library, multipurpose meeting rooms and green space surrounding the facility — make our community center the perfect gathering place for receptions, seminars, family reunions and other events.

The A. B. Green Athletic Complex, located at Dale Avenue and Laclede Station Road, is home to softball diamonds, a playground for children, a soccer field, and lighted basketball and tennis courts. There’s even a picnic area with barbecues for family and friendly gatherings.

Tucked away in one of Richmond Heights’ neighborhoods is Highland Park — a small, landscaped retreat with playground equipment and a gazebo for picnics.
