A passion for the arts prevails in St. Joseph, where a rich, cultural life can be found at a number of venues, including the St. Joseph Symphony, Robidoux Resident Theater, and the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art, to name a few.
The Symphony features a professional orchestra, and the Performing Arts Association presents a variety of theater, music, and dance productions showcasing talent from around the world. Midland Empire Community Arts (MECA), a division of MWSU Continuing Education, provides enrichment classes for artists of all ages. Enjoy music, visual arts, dance, theatre, Hatha yoga, culinary arts, summer mini-camps, and more.
Many events and programs are made possible by The Allied Arts Council, whose goal is to bring arts and people together by organizing, fundraising, advocating, educating, and servicing the local arts community.
