Kearney is distinguished by its exceptional hospitality and prime convention/tourism accommodations. The Holiday Inn Kearney stands as central Nebraska’s largest and most up-to-date convention complex, offering more than 20,000 square feet of modern meeting space capable of accommodating up to 1,000 people with multiple seating arrangements and break out rooms. Combined lodging facilities totaling more than 425 comfortable guest rooms and suites are available at four hotels—Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Wingate Inn—all located adjacent to one another and within walking distance to the convention center within the Holiday Inn. The Holiday Inn Kearney and its sister hotels offer one of the state’s largest convention complexes.

The Ramada Inn and Conference Center, situated three blocks from Interstate 80, offers a great combination of more than 200 guest rooms and plenty of space for meetings and conventions. Space available at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center includes 10,000 square feet, with the capability of splitting off into 10 individual rooms, plus the 24,000-square-foot Tropical Fundome.

1st Inn Gold is located on the southwest side of Interstate 80 at Exit 272, making it easily accessible for travelers on the interstate. The property offers a host of newly renovated suites and a deluxe continental breakfast. Groups will find excellent added services such as meeting and banquet facilities as well.

The Buffalo County Fairgrounds offers three superb facilities equipped with the flexibility to serve a range of conventions and events throughout the year. The Exposition Center features 46,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space, plus acres of outdoor exhibit space, ideal for up to 5,000 guests. The Ag Pavilion can hold up to 450 people in its indoor arena, with an additional 40,000 square feet available for exhibit space. The Exhibit Building can accommodate up to 2,500 in its 26,000 square feet of indoor space, and also provides ample outdoor exhibit space. Tradeshows, concerts, wedding receptions, rodeos, livestock shows and a number of additional events can all be found on the fairgrounds year round.

While the FirsTier Event Center is home to the Tri-City Storm, as well as a multitude of recreational options, it also offers more than 54,000 square feet of exhibit space—making it an ideal location for a variety of entertainment functions and meetings.
