The 185-bed Faith Regional Health Services, with two campuses, stands ready to assist Norfolk residents in sickness and in health. Its specialists encompass everything from behavioral health to cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation to dialysis. The Intensive Care Unit recently underwent a renovation, and our radiation treatment center, honoring entertainer Johnny Carson’s parents, is also a new addition to the state-of-the-art mix. Meanwhile, the SurgiCenter handles outpatient surgery needs in Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Urology and general surgery, in a family-friendly atmosphere at a reasonable cost.
The newly opened Cardiovascular Heart Institute provides a complete, state-of-the-art, surgical response to the region’s number one health risk.
The recently dedicated new Norfolk Veterans Home offers veterans a comfortable retirement in a homelike atmosphere.
The Norfolk Regional Center serves adults in need of psychiatric care and treatments, and usually runs a waiting list for admittance to this excellent facility. The city also supports five state-licensed nursing homes and a host of new assisted living, retirement and senior apartment complexes.
