I am glad you have shown an interest in Sidney. We have a long history of success stories, but it is our people that make us special. Our citizens are people that have family values. These grassroots values are still a big deal in our hometown. We have a community center that was built with citizen donations. We have a new fishing pond in our park built with volunteer labor and donations. Sidney has several progressive churches that have remodeled or built new additions. We are building the newest high school in Nebraska because the citizens believe in our future. We have a hiking, biking, walking path that extends all across town. There are several new housing projects currently under development. Our theme is "small town values with big time opportunities" and that is exactly what you will find in Sidney. I hope you too will see Sidney as a great place to call home. We sure would be pleased if you join us.
Hope to see you soon in Sidney

The Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce welcomes new residents, visitors, and businesses with open arms. We are a dynamic organization of over 250 members that help to improve the county’s economic climate, promote the community, and set the pace for the future of Sidney and Cheyenne County.
Sidney has a long, proud history of success in serving business, industry, agriculture, transportation and the military. Our mission is “To promote an environment for business to grow” and we do that by working in concert with the business community, the city of Sidney and the Sidney / Cheyenne County Economic Development Partnership. This consolidated effort provides strong community infrastructure, attractive economic development incentives, and an outstanding quality of life; all the while preserving our history and our culture.
Sidney has so much to offer, from the quaint historic downtown with many restored properties to the corporate career opportunities. Our climate is pleasant and offers the diversity of the four seasons. We truly have it all in Sidney, Nebraska!
