Chamber Welcome

The Mission of the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce is:

“To Advance Economic Vitality by Providing Advocacy, Information and Services to our Members and the Upper Valley.”

Welcome from the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce … at the Crossroads of New England.

The City of Lebanon is fortunate to be nestled snugly in the Connecticut River’s Upper Valley, at the Vermont/New Hampshire crossroads of Interstate highways 89 and 91 – thus we have become known as “The Crossroads of New England.” Our logo at the top of this page illustrates this fact. We are also at the confluence of two rivers, with railroads, air travel and bus service all converging here in this area of the Upper Valley.

Lebanon is a scenic two-hour drive from Boston, Portland, Hartford and Montreal, and slightly more than three hours from Cape Cod and the Adirondack Region of New York State.

Commercial airline service is available from Lebanon Municipal Airport, with daily flights to Boston’s Logan Airport and to White Plains, New York (with complimentary ground transportation to midtown Manhattan).

The Lebanon area offers a variety of fine restaurants, interesting museums, art galleries and health and fitness facilities, all within five minutes of downtown Lebanon. We are proud to say that we have two ski areas, Storrs Hill, run by the Outing Club of Lebanon, and Whaleback Ski Area run by a local non-profit organization. There are various lakes for sailing and boating, many trails for all kinds of walking and hiking, and fishing on the many streams and rivers – all nearby. It also boasts of a rail to trails that goes from Lebanon to Concord, New Hampshire for bikers and hikers. Soon the trail will go to the Connecticut River.

The Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, with a total membership of 343. This year 2016 the Chamber will celebrate its 100th anniversary of continuous operation. As we continue to forge the best ideas of our business, industry and service organizations into productive actions, we strive to work in harmony with our residents in order to shape our city’s best and brightest future for all.

We welcome you to Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Very Sincerely,
