Taking the Stage in Brick

Year-round, the spotlight shines on Brick Township’s cultural events. Residents and visitors alike enjoy the variety of happenings and activities in our Jersey Shore area, including participation in annual festivals, parades, celebrations and watching performances of grand scale.

Illustrating Brick’s artistic landscape is the annual Brick Township Cultural Arts Series, which runs from the early fall through late spring seasons. The series, held at the local Civic Center, draws a large amount of attention and attendees from all points in Ocean County. The display of talent is as varied as the world of performing arts itself. Some of the more memorable appearances have included mystifying and amusing “comic magic” acts, classical opera and an uncanny impressionist with over 120 personalities in his repertoire. Solo singers/guitarists, harpists and other musical masters, including nationally recognized talents, continue to light up the nights during this remarkably successful series.

Attendance is always robust at the annual SummerFest Concerts held on select Thursday nights from July through September at Brick’s Windward Beach on the beautiful Metedeconk River.

Live bands, radio broadcasts, movies, fireworks and classic Jersey Shore fare make for the “hottest” weeknights all summer long.
