A new, state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit has been added, and the hospital is now home to the Shore Rehabilitation Institute, providing more comprehensive and accessible care with an orthopedic unit and therapy gym, among other enhancements. A full complement of medical specialists are either on staff, or available in the offices bordering the hospital grounds for immediate patient attention when required. The hospital is also proud to be licensed as a high-risk diagnostic catheterization laboratory, allowing for advanced heart health care.
It also operates New Jersey’s first Satellite Emergency Department in neighboring Point Pleasant, which grows in importance when the summer population along the shore rises.
