Volunteers of all ages will discover a wide array of rewarding community service opportunities in Burlington County.
A quick visit to the United Way of Burlington County’s Web site www.uwburlington.org will provide an extensive list of “partner agencies.” Most of these nonprofit and charitable organizations are always on the lookout for volunteer helpers.
The Volunteer Center of Burlington County, based at the Pemberton Campus of Burlington County College, makes every effort to match volunteers with community projects and organizations that need them. The Volunteer Center also maintains a list of volunteer opportunities for young people and sponsors an annual youth service cooperation in conjunction with the high schools. Also located at the college is the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), which offers rewarding service opportunities for anyone 55 and over. Call (609) 894-9311, Ext. 1498 for more information.
