Located in Edison, JFK Medical Center is a 405-bed, acute-care hospital offering a complete array of services, including general surgery, emergency medicine, behavioral health, orthopedics, maternity and pediatric care programs.

Special services at the Medical Center include the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute, a diagnostic, treatment, teaching and research center for the study of complex neurological disorders; the JFK Regional Cancer Center, offering comprehensive medical, surgical and radiation oncology services; and the JFK Diagnostic Imaging Center, which houses traditional and open-air MRI capabilities, and high-speed computer tomography (CT).

The JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, located on the campus of JFK Medical Center in Edison, is one of the country’s premier facilities for comprehensive rehabilitation care, offering the most advanced setting and services to individuals disabled by disease or injury. The Institute offers a 94-bed state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, including physical and occupational therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, chronic pain, vocational rehabilitation, audiology and speech pathology and therapeutic recreation.

Patients from throughout Central New Jersey choose JFK Medical Center because of its expertise in treating a range of conditions, from the most complex – cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, stroke and traumatic brain injury – to the more common – arthritis, chronic pain and sports injuries.

Edison is proud of our JFK Medical Center. It is part of the Solaris Health System that provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation centers, nursing and convalescent facilities and specialized treatment programs, and our many other medical and healthcare facilities, including the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home.
