The Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce (GECC) is proud to present to you this Elizabeth, New Jersey Community Profile. I encourage you to read about the City of Elizabeth, and to patronize the businesses that are featured in this publication.
Since our founding more than 10 years ago, the GECC continues to grow at an unprecedented rate. Our growth is mirroring the tremendous revitalization that is occurring in every sector of Elizabeth’s economy. Throughout this time, the GECC has continued to promote the City’s revitalization at every level, including TV and radio, airline video, newspapers, and this publication.
The City of Elizabeth is continuing a remarkable renaissance with exciting plans for an even greater future–more new housing, light rail connections, increased employment opportunities, an expanded airport, new businesses, world-class office space, great new roadways and bridges, and more. As the Executive Director for the Chamber, I can truly say that this has not only been an exciting time to do business here, but also a remarkable time to live here.
