Chamber of Commerce

The Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce, founded almost 50 years ago, is a volunteer, privately funded organization comprised of business leaders dedicated to the interests of Millburn Township. Its primary function is to support, preserve and develop business in Millburn-Short Hills.

Activities for members include a variety of educational programs, trade shows and networking and visibility opportunities (including “After Hours” business card exchanges, speaker luncheons and other “meet & greet” gatherings). The Chamber sponsors several annual special events including Art Fair, Street Fair, the 5K President’s Cup Night Race and our popular Golf & Tennis Classic.

Another visibility program offered to members is the highly successful Chamber Gift Checks. The program encourages local support of the township’s merchants and is well received by local and out-of-town residents.

In addition, the Chamber of Commerce actively participates in many community organizations including the Township Marketing Committee, The Downtown Millburn Development Alliance and the Summer Concerts in the Park.

The Chamber of Commerce continues to play a key role in downtown redevelopment. It spearheaded the renovation of the award-winning Millburn Courtyard and purchased flower pots for the Short Hills section of Millburn Avenue as part of a beautification project.
