Somerset County Attractions
and Entertainment
Noting the important role that Somerset County played in the Revolutionary War, it is no wonder that the area has so many historic sites to visit.
The Somerset Patriots of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball play their home games at the 6,117-seat Commerce Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, host to top-flight entertainment in addition to baseball. Other notable attractions include the U.S. Equestrian Team Headquarters in Basking Ridge, the USGA Golf House and Museum, the Fleetwood Photography Museum, the Old Millstone Forge/Blacksmith Shop, the Bridgewater Commons Shopping Center and the Garden State Convention/Expo Center.
Many annual community events take place countywide throughout the year, including holiday parades, the Memorial Day weekend Tour of Somerville bike races, re-enactments of the Revolutionary War, the Somerset County 4-H Fair and the Somerset County Teen Arts Festival.
