The secret to success, as the old adage goes, is “location, location, location.” Simply put, Vineland offers its community a wonderful location with a network of major roadways and transportation options that connect Vineland to the neighboring metropolitan areas of New York, Philadelphia, Atlantic City and Washington D.C.
Getting around in the Vineland area is generally an effortless process, as residents don’t have to face the traffic hassles encountered by residents of larger cities. Major road improvements, including resurfacing and widening projects, are taking place to advance infrastructure and support our City’s growth.
Though it took more than 20 years to complete the 40-mile stretch, the construction of Route 55 has opened the world of commerce and expanded leisure activities to businesses and residents of Cumberland County. The opening of Route 55 has simplified access to Philadelphia, reducing the drive by at least a half hour, and acts as a feeder to routes leading to the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway. In short, it is Cumberland County’s “gateway to the world.”

The Airport’s aviation services include scheduled air service and charter service as well as ground handling of aircraft, fueling, aircraft maintenance, parking, registration and collection of landing and parking fees through fixed-based operators.
With a 6,100-foot runway, Millville Airport is the only FAA Flight Service Station in New Jersey that is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, including holidays. In addition to general aviation facilities, the Millville Army Air Field Museum (MAAFM) preserves the history of the Army Air Field for the enlightenment and enjoyment of visitors.
