On behalf of the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce, I want to welcome and invite you to see our community through this exciting publication. Thank you to our members who have demonstrated their continued support of the Chamber and its programs through their advertisements in this guide.
We are very proud of the area we serve; a region with a rich history that includes an agricultural-based economy and, more importantly, a deep appreciation of culture and tradition.
The economy of our area has changed over the years as industry has gone through phases. We have seen a remarkable surge in growth, due in large part to the strong foundation built by our founding fathers so many years ago.
Manufacturing remains a staple of the area economy however, a shift has recently occurred toward a more service-based economy. Healthcare and education are now examples of the driving economic forces that fuel our area.
The one element that sets us apart from other areas is the quality of life offered here, and it is reflected in our people. The business community lives by an ethic of hard work, is well-trained, and is loyal to the region. Industries that locate here enjoy the benefits of this workforce.
