Our Boardwalk is 38 blocks long, and on it you will find fantastic amusement piers, water parks, stores of every variety, arcades, excellent restaurants, and activities such as variety shows, concerts, and car shows. The Holly Beach Station Mall offers shops, restaurants and many clubs featuring live entertainment. The Wildwoods is home to the Wyland Whaling Wall #43, chosen on the basis of our community’s commitment to the health of our ocean and its sea life.
There isn’t anything that any member of your family would want to do that we can’t offer. Our hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts are family owned and operated. You can talk to the owner if you have a problem, question, or suggestion. The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce is a leader in maintaining high standards of hospitality in the Wildwoods, and assists thousands of vacationers each year. We are here to serve you in any way we can. Shopping & Dining Whatever you like is exactly what you’ll find in The Wildwoods. It’s a good thing the salt air stimulates your appetite. Because there’s incomparable food in The Wildwoods. From the hot funnel cakes, fresh fudge, caramel corn, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, and fries on the boardwalk ... to romantic cafes where you can dine on fresh seafood, pasta, or sizzling steaks while you watch the sun sink into the bay. Congratulations on choosing our beautiful island as your vacation
destination. Perhaps you were here years ago. Maybe you have never
been here. What can you look forward to when you vacation on our island?
The Wildwoods has it all — your place in the sun complete with
accommodations, fine restaurants, attractions, recreation, special
events, and entertainment. Be prepared to see one of the largest beaches
anywhere. Our beaches are cleaned daily and there are no beach fees.
Our water is clean, clear, and monitored. New Jersey maintains the
highest standards in water quality of any state in the U.S.A. Our
modern municipal plant helps to keep it that way.
The
Wildwoods is centrally located for visiting a variety of attractions
within minutes. Atlantic City’s casinos are only 50 minutes away.
The County Park and Zoo, golf courses, horse back riding, and botanical
gardens are 20 minutes away, and Victorian Cape May is only 7 miles
south. We are second to no one with our fishing and pleasure cruising
fleets.
