The blending of Navajo, Hispanic and Anglo cultures in each classroom is the most significant aspect of our award-winning school district.
The Bloomfield Municipal School District, among the finest in the state, covers approximately 1500 square miles–seventy percent (70%) of which is on the Navajo Reservation. In the Bloomfield Schools, fifty-nine percent (59%) of students enrolled come from different language backgrounds.
There are approximately 3,500 enrolled students within the district classrooms. Sixty-eight percent (68%) of all seniors apply for 4-year or 2-year graduate studies. The composite ACT score is 20.2 for high school students.
