Shopping

The retail landscape of Santa Fe continues to expand with each passing day as new shops and businesses continue to open their doors throughout the city. Downtown Santa Fe is the main retail center, presenting an assortment of boutiques and stores sure to please any shopper.

Activity surrounds the historic Santa Fe Plaza in this downtown district, with shoppers, diners and leisurely strollers filling the walkways of this unique and always-bustling city center.

Outside downtown Santa Fe, one will find well-known stores along Zafarano Drive on the city’s south side and Canyon Road, which is well-known for its chic retailers and art galleries. At Cerrillos and Rodeo roads is the Santa Fe Place mall, an indoor shopping spot housing more than 70 retailers. Additional national and locally-owned businesses can be found at the DeVargas Center and the Guadalupe Street district on either end of downtown Santa Fe, as well as the Second Street district and along Baca Street, St. Francis Drive and St. Michael’s Drive.

Santa Fe also houses two unique flea markets—on one end is the Tesuque Pueblo Flea Market (along Highway 84/285); on the other The Flea (near I-25 and Highway 85). Guests are invited to browse through a fantastic mix of products, including clothing, furniture, art, handmade wares and much, much more.

For a list of referred retailers, visit the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce online business directory, located at www.santafechamber.com.
