Combined with its notable music, sports, and extracurricular programs, it is one of the premier public school systems in the state. St. Mary’s School, a Canandaigua presence for more than 150 years, provides quality education meeting both State and Diocesan requirements. Happiness House provides educational opportunities for those with special needs, while the Canandaigua Montessori School and Polimeni’s London Montessori Nursery School provide excellent programs for our youngest generation. The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES campus offers a wide range of programs for those seeking critical trade skills, while focusing on skills needed by employers in the area.

Finger Lakes Community College offers a variety of programs that meet and match the needs of its students and the community. The college has many two-year programs and excels at preparing many students for continuing success at four-year colleges. Educational opportunities abound both directly within Canandaigua as well as in the surrounding area, including programs at Keuka College, Medaille College and SUNY’s Empire State College.
