Economic growth and development is a priority in Sullivan County. Sullivan County’s central location puts it within a 500 mile radius of 28 percent of the US population and 60 percent of Canada’s. The county features low operating costs in a place of striking natural beauty. Generous incentive programs are at the heart of a pro-growth commitment to helping new employers establish and expand their presence.

The Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development provides an assistance program for site selection, energy savings, permits and approvals. The Industrial Development Agency assists enterprises with financing and creative funding sources. Sullivan Works is a one-stop center designed to assist both employers and job seekers. The center maximizes the opportunity for businesses to find and retain employees with skills matched to their needs. The Center includes the New York State Department of Labor, The Center for Workforce Development and other employment resources.
