Sullivan County operates under a legislative form of government. Our community is divided into nine districts with each electing one representative to our County Legislature. Our County Manager, who is appointed by the Legislature, directs the day-to-day operation of our county.

Each of our 15 towns has a Town Supervisor who is responsible for the daily operations within town government.
