The Tri-State area is located just one and one-half hours northwest of New York City and one-half hour from the government offices in Goshen, N.Y. For camping and boating enthusiasts, it is on the Delaware River, a national recreation area, which offers canoeing, rafting, hunting and fishing.

When traveling outside of the area, one will enjoy traveling on the Metro-North Railroad to points east, toward New York, or flying in or out of the area at Stewart International Airport located just 40 minutes east along Route I-84. While highway traveling, one can travel to points in any direction, as there are Interstates connecting the

Tri-State area to all other counties and states. Interstates 84 and 87 offer wonderful access to Route I-80 and I-81, with secondary highway access to Route 17 (to become Interstate 86) or more scenic routes 9W or 97. Additionally, the area is served daily by a commercial bus system. Major freight companies including Yellow Freight, Federal Express, Airborne Express, United Parcel Service and Roadway Package Service operate throughout the entire region.graphicgraphic
