Fine arts and photography, galleries, dance studios, theater and choral groups, orchestras and bands have permanent homes in the entire Tri-State region.

The Arts Walk, an annual event, draws thousands of people to a summer"s evening viewing of fine arts in all its forms shown in the stores and offices on Front Street in Port Jervis.

Adding to the presentation is the music which surrounds the area; classical violin, cello, flutes, a jazz band, the city band; all make the evening a mixture of arts, each enhancing the other.

An art studio for children is one of the region’s treasured assets. In Cuddebackville, the D & H Canal Museum hosts art auctions, film festivals, nature walks and other programs. An interesting footnote is that many early silent films by D.W. Griffith were filmed in this Tri-State area.

graphicSo be it summer, fall, spring or winter, the arts are alive and flourishing within our communities. They are ours and yours to enjoy. Whether you're in the market for a memory or commodities for your home, you are sure to find it and at prices that will please you.
