Greater Cleveland Parks and Recreation
The Cleveland Community is fortunate enough to have easy access to the recreational resources of Raleigh, Garner and Clayton.
In addition to a plethora of parks and wide open spaces ready to be explored and used, there are many organizations looking to offer and organize fun recreational events.
The Greater Cleveland Athletic Association, operated by a group of dedicated volunteers, offers athletic opportunities year-round in a variety of different sports. Sluggers is a family oriented sports facility that offers baseball, softball and basketball, as well as, an exercise-based after school program for children.
The Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce creates fun for all by hosting the annual Strawberry Festival, Celebrate Cleveland and Christmas in Cleveland.
These free events boost community spirit in a family atmosphere. When you combine these great recreational organizations and spaces with the Chamber’s numerous community events, it is clear that the Cleveland area has the formula for fun.
