Greater Cleveland Education
Student achievement in the Johnston County Schools ranks within the top twenty percent of North Carolina school districts.

Cleveland’s students attend some of the newest and most state of the art schools in Johnston County. Among them is West Johnston High School, home of the Wildcats Marching Band, the only high school band in North Carolina to play for a Presidential inaugural parade.
Along with great choices for public primary, middle and high schools, Cleveland residents may choose to enroll their child in Lighthouse Christian Academy, a private school located in our community, teaching students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Realizing education starts before a child reaches school-age, the Cleveland area is home to many daycares and after school programs such as Kim’s Kids Before and After School Care. Parents agree that Cleveland is a great place to start a child’s education.
