Greater Cleveland Higher Education
The two-year community college, Johnston Community College, with several campuses, including the Cleveland Campus, offers occupational and technical programs and support for transfer to four-year colleges.
Currently JCC serves over fifteen thousand students enrolled in a number of curriculum and continuing education courses, as well as GED and Adult Basic Education programs.
JCC is fully accredited by the Commission of Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate’s degrees, certificates and diplomas.
Additional higher education facilities nearby include Wake Technical Community College, Shaw University, North Carolina State University and Meredith College, all located in Raleigh, along with Durham Technical Community College and North Carolina Central University, both in Durham.
