We are excited to present this annual business and relocation guide designed to highlight Greensboro’s assets. The Guilford Merchants Association and the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce discovered many years ago that we are more effective when we work together to create change.

From our strategic location at the intersection of several interstates and major highways, to our vibrant downtown scene, to our well-deserved reputation as “Tournament Town,” Greensboro offers visitors and residents alike plenty to do… and it’s easy to get here! Our city is a center for business where many world-renowned companies have major operations.

In an increasingly knowledge-based, global economy, we are a model for higher education, offering seven colleges and universities within city limits. In February 2011, leaders of our city’s academic and business communities launched Opportunity Greensboro: A Business and Collegiate Partnership, to further the connections between businesses and our colleges and universities. This collaboration focuses on opportunities to transform our bank of academic learning into commercial success, implementing results-oriented programs and activities to create a competitive advantage for business growth. Add to that a growing research park and a vibrant entrepreneurial spirit, and you have a city that is poised for present and future success. Greensboro offers a fantastic quality of life for all.
