KNIGHTDALE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE GOLF TOURNAMENT
This main fundraiser for the Chamber, the golf tournament is usually held in October. Call the Chamber at 266-4603 for further information.

EAST REGIONAL LIBRARY
The East Regional Library, located at 946 Steeple Square Court offers a wide variety of programming for all ages from storytimes for babies through preschoolers, school age crafts, book clubs and monthly programs and teen quarterly activities and a book club. For adults in the community, ongoing programs include a variety of Books Clubs, the ProCraftinators Craft Club, the Knight Writers writing group and a Gardening Club. Special areas of the collection of over 100,000 volumes of books include educator resources, parenting, business, computers, careers, travel, audio and large print. Thirty-one computer workstations are available free of charge to the public as well as free internet and word processing classes. Call 217-5300 for hours or further information.

EASTER EGG HUNT
The Easter Egg Hunt is held the Saturday before Easter weekend at 11:00am in Harper Park on Main Street. There are plenty of eggs for everyone ages 8 and under. Some eggs contain special prizes. Plan to meet the Easter Bunny while you are there. 217-2235

VOLUNTEER DAY CELEBRATION
This fun festival for the whole family is held the 2nd Saturday in September in Harper Park on Main Street, 11:00am-4:00pm. Enjoy games, food, music, inflatable rides, ponies, a rock wall, and fun for everyone. 217-2235

TREE LIGHTING CELEBRATION AND SANTA’S MAGICAL WORKSHOP
The Tree Lighting Celebration and Santa’s Magical Workshop is held at the Caboose on First Avenue the Friday before the Christmas Parade at 6:00-7:30pm. This is your chance to get those letters to Santa! Visit Mrs. Claus and all the elves at the Caboose in downtown Knightdale for a peek at Santa’s Magical Workshop. Features tree lighting, Santa’s Workshop, music, entertainment and more. 217-2235

CHRISTMAS PARADE
Bring in the Holiday season with the annual Christmas Parade held the first Saturday in December at 2:00pm in downtown Knightdale. You’ll want to arrive early and take advantage of the Park & Ride Shuttle from the Wal-Mart parking lot so you won’t miss a single float! Our candy buckets are stocked, so come out and enjoy the fun! 217-2235

COOKIES AND STORYTIME WITH SANTA
This fun program held at the East Regional Library, 946 Steeple Square Court, features storytime, cookies and a visit with Santa! Sponsored by Knightdale Chamber of Commerce,

SUMMER DAY CAMP
For ages 5-13. Campers participate in arts & crafts, sports, games, aquatics and field trips. Registration begins in April. Camp normally runs for 8 weeks during the summer. 217-2230
