The communities are located 30 miles southeast of downtown Cleveland and eight miles northeast of Akron in the Midwests largest production and distribution center. It is this strategic geographic location, with ease of travel in all directions that attracts numerous light manufacturing and service industries to the area.
Transportation Systems make it happen Our close proximity to Akron and Cleveland provides easy access as well as an excellent network of transportation systems. Besides the infrastructure noted above, Stow and Munroe Falls also enjoy commercial air service at both Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport (33 miles) and Akron-Canton Regional Airport (22 miles). Private and corporate aircraft use the Kent State University Airport hard-surfaced runway, located in Stow. Summit County Port
Authority and others provide rail service; Amtrak trains provide passenger
service out of Akron to all parts of the country. Greyhound Bus offers
connecting services out of Akron and the surrounding areas and local bus
service is provided by Metro Regional Transit Authority throughout Summit
County.
