The Guthrie Fire Department provides Guthrie citizens with fire suppression, prevention and emergency medical services. Equipped with the latest emergency response technology, this highly trained team also gives tours of the fire station year round and works with students and groups on fire safety. Through the Firefighters Local Union 2145, they provide smoke detectors to those in need and assist with installation when necessary. Residents within the city limits must obtain a burn permit from the Guthrie Fire Department prior to any outdoor burning.

VOTER INFORMATION
In the state of Oklahoma you may register to vote or change your current registration by filling out a form that is available in several ways. You can pick up the form at our local County Election Board office at 224 E. Vilas or at tag agencies, public libraries, post offices or online at www.elections.state.ok.us. For precinct and polling locations or further information, contact the Logan County Election Board at (405) 282-1900.
AUTO TAG & DRIVERS LICENSE
New residents to the state of Oklahoma are given 30 days to change vehicle registration and apply for an Oklahoma driver’s license. Both can be done at the Guthrie Tag Agency located at 2105 S. Division. The agency is also responsible for new and used auto tags, driver’s license renewals and offers notary services. A Contract for Service form must be completed at City Hall Utility Customer Service window before service can be initiated. Customer Service is located on the second floor of City Hall, 101 N. 2nd Street and is open from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday.
