The Guthrie Animal Shelter is located just west of Guthrie at 420 Commerce Boulevard. The shelter is responsible for stray, abandoned, abused and nuisance animals within the city limits and for pet licensing. The shelter works hard to place unwanted animals and is open for viewing from 1 p.m.–5 p.m., Tuesday–Friday.
