Drawing seafood lovers for its famous, fresh-caught Oregon Dungeness crab, Oregon’s North Coast celebrates annually with the Astoria-Warrenton Crab, Seafood and Wine Festival. Headlined by the fresh seafood and selection of Oregon wineries, visitors will be able to explore more than 180 booths that feature vibrant work from regional artisans and taste the traditions of the Oregon Coast. The Astoria Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce has organized this event for 31 years! The event takes place at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds where parking is limited, so this encourages use of the frequent shuttles that service Astoria and Warrenton during the event.

Once each year for just two hours, 3,000 runners and walkers are able to cross the historic Astoria-Megler Bridge as a part of the Great Columbia Crossing 10k. The opportunity to trek across the 4.1-mile bridge, which connects Washington and Oregon and is the longest continuous three-span through truss bridge in the US, attracts runners from around the globe. The event has been certified by the USA Track & Field Association, so that you can now use your finishing time to qualify for a competitive marathon. Runners’ times are recorded through the use of electronic chip timing devices.
The 32nd annual Great Columbia Crossing 10k is a major fundraiser for the Astoria Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce. Registration opens July 1st, and closes when the cap of 3,000 participants is reached.
