From the Chamber Director

As Hermiston attracts new business to the area, the Chamber will be there to help them connect to the community, help them develop long lasting relationships and encourage them along through their successes. It is incredible to see what people can do when they are so passionate about our business climate and what Hermiston has to offer.

Hermiston is the largest town in NE Oregon. Today, there are approximately 39,000 people who live within a 12-minute drive of downtown Hermiston. Agriculture and associated industries are what is driving Hermiston’s economy.

Your chamber will help you get involved in this great community. Discover that meeting prospects and key contacts through the chambers monthly Business to Business meetings, Hermiston Leadership, Business Expos, Forums and social events will increase traffic to your door. Doing business with fellow members who offer wonderful products, ideas and services on a local level will increase awareness of how valuable it is to live and work in a community such as ours.

What does the Chamber do?

The chamber offers a variety of educational classes and brings in world class speakers, experts and training specialist on topics that strengthen business and provides the tools to help business growth. The goal is to provide affordable and local access to continuing educational opportunities right here in Hermiston.

Let your voice be heard in the halls of our State Capital. Our goal is to hear about your concerns and interest as we address those issues that affect us on local and state levels. Advocacy is important to our region, business environment and the Hermiston Chamber Government Affairs Team has a very good working relationship with its local representatives and receives regular legislative updates monthly.

The Hermiston Chamber is the most active Chamber in the area, with a staff that is here to serve every need whether it is the business community or those seeking information at the visitors center. There is a wide range of information, brochures, business cards and magazines for those looking to take a vacation, looking to relocate to our area or want to know what to do while they are visiting our town.

The Chamber also provides an important role for the City of Hermiston by managing the Hermiston Community (Conference) Center. The Hermiston Chamber gets to work with many civic organizations, commercial organizations, cultural, weddings, private parties, tradeshows, and meetings and help them plan for success at this beautiful facility!
