Healthcare
Hermiston is home to Good Shepherd Medical Center and Columbia Professional Plaza Medical Facility (with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities). Approximately 33 physicians and a full range of dental, orthodontic, chiropractic and physical therapy and lab services are available. An additional seven hospitals are located within 60-mile radius of the city. Ambulance service is provided by the Hermiston Fire Department.
The city offers several health clinics and an Urgent Health Care Center. Many elderly and handicapped residents reside at our various retirement homes and Alzheimer facilities.
Two dialysis centers are located in Hermiston.
