Hermiston has over 40 churches located in the area, with most denominations available. These area churches have a long history of community involvement and service to the community.
Service Clubs and Organizations
Hermiston’s internationally recognized service clubs include: Toastmasters International, Chamber Ambassadors, Altrusa International, Kiwanis Breakfast Club, Kiwanis, Eagles, Elks, Relay for Life, Hermiston Education Foundation, Oregon Trail Habitat for Humanity, Smart, Knights of Columbus and Rotary. There are many other organizations registered with the Chamber of Commerce, Vange Johns Hospice, Agape House, Goodwill, Senior Center, Boy Scouts of America, Domestic Violence, Desert Arts Council, Hat Rock Hounds, and you may call the Chamber at 567-6151 for additional information.
