Welcome to Muddy-Frogwater Country! I hope that you will find this guide helpful when considering Milton-Freewater as a place to visit, to live or to locate your business.
Milton-Freewater is located in the northeast corner of the state, and is within the acclaimed Walla Walla Valley Wine Appellation. We are proud of the fact that so many of the grapes used in the award-winning Walla Walla wines are grown on the land surrounding Milton-Freewater. We also have our own award-winning wineries, the only hard cidery in the eastern part of the entire state and a chocolatier who makes decadent chocolate creations.
Living here you will be exposed to the dramatically changing landscape from season to season. You will discover how the surrounding Blue Mountains offer outdoor activities all year long—one reason why Milton-Freewater chose to become involved in and a part of Oregon’s Rugged Country. Here you can experience small-town hospitality while being pivotally located within an hour’s drive time of large urban areas.
