Ontario is served by Ontario School District and has grown to include five grade schools, one middle school and one high school. Combined, these schools serve approximately 2,800 students annually. The school district prides itself on helping students to reach their fullest potential, while becoming productive members of society. The area is also served by two parochial schools, one charter school, two head start programs and several day care centers.
For those looking to pursue a degree in higher education, Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) proudly calls Ontario home. Currently, TVCC serves more than 12,000 full- and part-time students annually. TVCC offers associate degrees and works in conjunction with several accredited four-year institutions, such as Eastern Oregon University, to offer both bachelor’s and master’s degrees locally. With an eye on the future, TVCC continues to provide convenient and affordable access for students to pursue their dreams.
