A healthy business environment and a high quality of life are built on a solid foundation of faith. In Butler County, churches are an integral part of our communities.

When the first families came to Butler County over two hundred years ago, not only did they bring their possessions and their families, they brought their religious beliefs. The bricks and mortar of those early churches were as important as the bricks and mortar of early Butler County homes, giving residents a place to worship and share their faith with each other.

Today, local churches offer residents much more than places to worship. Through dedicated volunteers and church staffs, quality day care facilities, support programs, community meals and inter-faith fellowship programs are offered to community members. Spiritual strength can be found in a variety of denominations throughout the county and in churches both old and new that have been built to renew the county’s beliefs and spirit.
