There is no better place to live or do business than here in Eastern Montgomery County. This year marks our 75th anniversary. We are very proud of what our Chamber has accomplished in the last 75 years. Many thanks are in order to all the volunteers who have served on the Board of Directors, the many Ambassadors who welcome new members to the Chamber, and all of the numerous volunteers who have contributed to the growth and success of our community and Chamber.

Through unique programs and events such as the Economic Forum, the Annual Awards and Induction Dinner, the Business Expo, Best of the Burbs, business seminars focusing on key issues, Dress for Professional Success, Breakfast with Your County Commissioners, the Appreciation Luncheon, Municipal Managers’ Breakfast, and monthly networking card exchanges, our Chamber’s reputation has risen to be one of the most dynamic organizations in the region. These are only a few of the 50-plus events that are held annually by the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.

Pam Sawyer

I am honored to be the President of the EMCCC and our community is fortunate to be served by such a professional, results-oriented Chamber. The EMCCC is dedicated to promoting our 700+ members and the economic health and development of Eastern Montgomery County. We serve as a catalyst by uniting businesses, community agencies, education and government to make our county a great place to live and work. We provide our members with networking, referral and promotional opportunities and present quality programs to help our members grow their businesses. We advocate for business on a variety of issues on the local, county, state and federal levels and work hard to support new and expanding businesses, as well as community projects. All of our events in 2008 will be a little more special as we celebrate our 75th year of service!

So, whether you are visiting, moving into the area or establishing a business here, we are your source of information. If you do not currently belong to the Chamber, please join us! If you would like us to pass along copies of this Community Profile and Membership Directory to neighbors or colleagues, please call us at (215) 887-5122. We are truly proud to be celebrating 75 years of service, and we hope you are excited to be a part of this special time! I look forward to seeing you or meeting you at one of our many networking, educational or social events the EMCCC holds throughout the year.

Join us in celebrating the past, present, and future……

Sincerely,

Pam Sawyer, President
