Higher Education
The Exton Region also is also home to a number of institutions of higher learning. Immaculata University is a Catholic liberal arts university offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Delaware County Community College offers a variety of programs in Chester County leading to an associate’s degree in fields such as health and nursing, communications, business and computer information systems, social sciences, technology, and more. Non-credit and business training programs are also offered.
University College is an extension campus of Widener University. Convenient program options allow flexible scheduling to obtain certification in a variety of fields, or earn a bachelor or associate’s degree.
West Chester University, which is a public, regional institution, has been known for many years for the education degrees it awarded. The University also is noted for its long-standing degree programs offered through its College of Arts and Sciences and its Schools of Business and Public Affairs, Health Sciences and Music.
Within easy reach of Exton, there are about 85 other universities and colleges, including the University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University, Bryn Mawr College and St. Joseph’s University.
